Elisabeth McClain grew up constantly focusing on one art form or another. She graduated from college in 2012 with a background in anthropology and history, two subjects that still remain very influential in her work today. In the following years since graduation she began to focus on textiles, sewing, and design. In September of 2013 she launched Woolgather, a blog and shop that focuses on quality design, art, and handmade goods. She believes in a minimalist approach to life and the beauty behind good design and quality products. All of her art is designed and created by hand in her Texas studio.
